Which Discord channel do the alerts land in?
Whichever channel you choose. A lot of people start with something like #reddit-alerts, then send higher-traffic keywords to a busier channel the whole team reads. Each keyword can point at a different channel.
Do I need to be a server admin to add the bot?
To add the app to a Discord server you need someone with the Manage Server permission, so usually an admin does that once. After the app is in the server, adding and editing keywords needs no special role.
Does it read Reddit posts or comments?
Both, right across Reddit. A lot of the buying-intent chatter shows up as a reply deep in a thread, so reading only the original post would let half of it slip past you.
How quickly do alerts reach Discord?
We look at Reddit on a fixed 5-minute cycle. When your keyword turns up in a post or comment, the alert goes to your channel on the next check, landing within minutes of the thread going up.
Does the bot post or reply on Reddit for me?
No. The only thing this bot does is carry Reddit keyword alerts into your Discord server. It never posts, replies, upvotes or DMs on Reddit, and it has nothing that acts on your behalf over there. What happens after the alert is entirely up to you.
